We had a great day at Kew Gardens, despite the
rain.. We started off at school with a tutorial on DSLR cameras and then we were
ready for action!
At Kew there were
plenty of photo opportunities, both in terms of wildlife and amazing plants and
trees in the palm house and Princess of Wales Conservatory.
The budding photographers soon got the hang of the
cameras and had some good images to show for their efforts. We took the train
around the perimeter of the Gardens which turned into a kind of 'Kew
Safari'! Tomorrow, we will be going
through the photographs and print up the best compositions. On the way back we
stopped off for some refreshment at Starbucks before returning to school.
